Lanie West '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Lanie West and I am a 2025 recruit. I am primarily a catcher but can also be used as a utility player. My dream is to play college softball at the highest level and pursue an education in the field of elementary education. I believe I would make a good candidate for any team due to my work ethic, skill level and leadership qualities. I push myself to be the best I can be for my team as team is always first. My christian faith keeps me grounded and focused as I have been raised in church. It's the most important thing in my life. I am an A honor roll student and a member of the Beta Club, Student Council and the Refined Club (a christian club at my school for young women). I was and still am the starting catcher for my high school team which won the 4A state title in 2022. I am also the starting catcher for my travel team, Comets 2025 - Helton.
