Personal Statement
I have played softball since I was five years old, and I've grown up living on a field whether it being softball or baseball, watching my dad play. I would love the opportunity to play softball at the collegiate level. It is has been my dream for as long as I can remember. My family, coaches, and fellow teammates have pushed me to become a better player, but I would be nothing without God. Coming from a very small private school in Arkansas, I knew I was going to have to work very hard to be known, and I have been willing to do that. I grew up playing short stop but the taller and bigger I got, my coaches moved me to first base. When I was eight I started my first tournament ball team and played outfield, which was a new experience for me but I absolutely loved it. My freshman year of high school I played short stop and left field and was named to the 4A All Conference Team. My sophomore year I was a utility player; I played 1B, SS, 3B, catcher, and outfield. As a junior I will be playing catcher. I love every position on the field and will work hard in whatever position I am put in. I work very hard in school, even though there is always room for improvement, my school being a private school is known for its academics being harder and the students being able to take more college level classes. I have worked so hard to get where I am today and I want to keep improving and getting better. Playing at the collegiate level is everything I have ever wanted!
