Personal Statement
I first started off playing baseball when I was four years old. I remember falling in love with the sport and was suggested that I play softball when I got older. When I was 8 I finally started softball and in that first season, I knew I was in love with the game. I love the competition, the intensity, the friends I've made, the coaches I've learned from, and the sister bonds I will carry out for the rest of my life. This sport has truly shaped the person I am today and my dream is to play softball at the collegiate level in the school that best fits me.
I am a competitor who always strives to do better. If someone is better than me at a certain position, it is my main motivator to challenge myself and to push myself to greater things. I take it upon myself to work harder and to only get better. I'm also a motivator to other players on my team. I make sure to encourage them and also help them to push themselves to give them the extra edge they need. I will strive to make a greater difference in any softball program.
