Personal Statement
To be a good candidate for your softball team is my dedication and hard work to the sport of softball. I’m an athlete who knows the game and understand what it takes to win. So far in my young career, my most important accomplishment was winning the 1st FASA World Series in 2013 with my travel team. I made the high school junior varsity as an 8th grader and working hard to keep getting better.
Knowing that I’m working hard each day to reach my dream of playing college softball makes me more passionate for the sport. What I can promise to a team is to always work hard and never give up. Games are won and lost at the end. I show up early to the field and leave late. I strive to be the best I can be on and off the field. There is nothing more important to me than not letting a teammate down. I will fight for them as I hope they will fight for me.
When it comes to choosing a school, I’m open minded. I have a few set majors that I want to pursue but all that could change as I’m only a sophomore. The size of a college really doesn't matter to me as long as I’m getting my education.
Once everything is said and done with my career in softball, I want to be able to give back to young girls in the sport like it was done for me. Whatever happens in the next 2 years or so, I’m very thankful that I had the opportunity to live a dream in softball. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
