Gavin Hoffpauir '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since before I was able to walk.  My knowledge from the game has grown and is constantly growing from the basketball-centered environment that I have grown up in.  As a person, I put strong emphasis on relationship-building within the team and I am always focused and prepared for the task at hand, whether that involves watching film on a team or being in the right mental space to go out and perform at my best capabilities.  As a player, I'm never afraid to attack the rim, shoot a 3-pointer, or set up for a charge whether at the start of the game or in the most clutch moments.  My sheer scoring capabilities, my communication, and my hustle truly set me apart from the "average" players.  Most importantly, I find great joy in the game of basketball, which means that I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my team successful.
