My name is Amanda Kotsmith. I am a Junior at Champlin Park which is the 5th largest high school in MN. I have always had a lot of energy and from the time I was 7, I wanted to play every sport I could. I signed up to play soccer, tennis, basketball and softball. I loved playing all of them but I excelled at and enjoyed softball the most. I love every aspect of the game and the challenges that come with it. I have always been a middle infielder and I take pride in knowing the situation and where the ball needs to go. I am a very vocal player and making sure my teammates and I are on the same page for every pitch is very important to me. I work very hard on the field and in the classroom maintaining an almost 4.0 GPA taking one or two advanced classes each semester.
I have always dreamt of playing at the college level and testing my skills against the best players in the country. Division level is not that important to me as I just want to be part of an team that puts attitude and effort above all! My goal is to be the captain of my varsity team each of the last two years I play at Champlin Park. This game has provided me with such great friendships and opportunities. I have played for fantastic coaches and I thank them all for their time and for the wisdom they have instilled in me.
Thank you so much for reading my profile!
