Personal Statement
My whole life has been filled with the influence of my father's love for baseball. My brother tried it out but, it wasn't really his sport so I was enrolled into T-ball when I was 6 years old. Ever since then, one one of my favorite things in the world has been playing softball. Playing this sport has taught me a lot about myself as an individual. I may be a bit timid in learning a new skill or life lesson only because I am so hard on myself until I believe I have completely perfected it, then I radiate that confidence both on and off the field. I strive for perfection but accept mistakes along the way.
My academic goals throughout my remaining high school years and future college career is to maintain good grades and a consistent GPA. I portray many unique characteristics that make me different from other recruits. I tend to absorb what is going on around me and when I need to share a thought or a suggestion everyone is at earshot. I like to have all of the information correct before I share my thoughts. I am open to criticism from my coaches to bring my technique one step further for growth. I'm ambitious to be the best I can be and give it my all at every practice and every game. I am dedicated both on the field and in the classroom.
