My name is Ava Grisez and I am a 5’2 middle infielder. I graduate in 2025 and play on the varsity team at Fort Recovery High School. My goal is to play softball at the next level. I have played softball since I was able to play t-ball. From there I fell in love with the sport and the thought of teamwork. Without all of my previous/present coaches and teammates I would not be the teammate I am. And of course without my supportive parents I would not be able to be the student athlete I am today.
I have received many academic awards and next year I aim to be on National Honor Society. I’m also in multiple extracurricular programs in high school. With that being said, I’m looking for a college that will support me academically as well as the field. I plan on majoring in accounting because I have an interest in mathematics. I would love to go to a school where my skills can be utilized early on in my career versus a popular school where it may take a couple of years before being on the field.
My parents and sports have taught me many lessons that are important and help me to grow as a human being. I have been taught that if you have a high work ethic then anything is possible. I’m a hardworking player that will have my teammates backs on and off of the field.
