Regan Browne '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a mature, driven multi-sport student athlete who LOVES softball.  I have been playing since I was age 6.  I've played organized baseball (grades K-3), rec ball (grades 4-8), school ball (grades 7-9) and travel ball (12U - 16U), plus I participate in a winter, indoor hitting league.  I enjoy playing the position of LF best, but I have experience playing CF, 1B, SS, 3B and RF as well.  I even took pitching lessons during 7th grade school ball when all of our pitchers were injured!  I was a captain for my 7th grade team and won the Silver Slugger Award for my 8th grade team; JV awards are not issued at Gahanna Lincoln High School (GLHS).  I started at CF for GLHS JV for 15 of 17 games (started at LF for 1 game; played 17 of 17 games).  Due to COVID-19,  my sophomore school ball season was cancelled. My junior year, I made the varsity team as a CF/1B.

I regularly work with a private coach to enhance my batting and fielding skills and my speed and agility.  I have a 4.25 GPA and am a member of the GLHS JV Golf team and 5-year member of Gahanna's Orchestra program (cello). I was recently named DBAT Columbus Player of the Month (Nov. 2020).

I am coachable, likeable and a great teammate.  I take pride in developing a strong softball IQ.

I want to play college softball, and I have a lot to offer a solid college program.
