My name is Kyra Henke and I am 5’7, and in the class of 2025 . Being on varsity this year has taught me so much and is an amazing opportunity. So far the season has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field and how to give 110% all the time. Adding on, everyone makes mistakes, and as a softball player, being perfect is impossible. It's very easy to get down on yourself after a bad play, but I believe that learning how to pick yourself up makes someone a great player. I am a good student off the field as well, having a 3.44 GPA at Divine Savior Holy Angels. I’ve been through some leadership programs and have, and will be attending more showcases that are exposed to many different colleges over the US.
My dream has always been to play softball in college and I am confident that I will be able to do so. I would be honored to go to a national college who is known for their softball program. I am looking for a college who would fit me athletically and academically.
