Personal Statement
My collegiate goals include paying college softball, majoring in history to eventually work in a museum similar fields of work, and face new experiences, both good and bad.
I am a good candidate for your team due to the fact that I am open to criticism and will listen to the directions given. I play my hardest, and I’m also a team player. I have been coached by previous college softball players, I have competed in state tournaments five times, and I can play any position, even pitching, with some guidance. I am primarily shortstop or a middle infielder.
I differ from the other recruits in character because although I am competitive, I play with my heart and for the love of the game. I also know that I have many things to work on in the way of softball, but I am open to suggestion and will do what I can to become a better player. I am a very honest person, I have a strong sense of right and wrong, and I have high ethics.
I differ from other recruits athletically because I have natural, raw abilities that can be refined and molded by good coaching. Softball has always impacted my life and I have an intense love for the game.
In all honesty, it is hard for me to compare myself to other students academically. I do struggle with math but in all other aspects I am a good student.
