Personal Statement

I started playing basketball when I was six at the YMCA; and ever since then I have been in love with the game. My biggest dream is to take my love and passion for basketball to the college level. I am one of the hardest workers you will ever meet. I run cross country and track in the off season for conditioning, as well as working out on my own. Not only am I a hard worker on the court, but off the court as well. I constantly strive to push myself to the next level not only in basketball, but in the classroom. I continually challenge myself by taking honors classes. I also possess strong leadership skills. I have taken a leadership class,am a peer leader for freshman, work with special needs students and am a member of student government. Basketball is my biggest passion and playing at the college level is a dream that I work toward everyday.
