I believe the key to being successful is to be well rounded. Without quality grades, athletics means nothing. As a basketball player I would like to be successful on and off the court. I would not only like to receive a college scholarship for basketball but also for academic success. If I were to receive a college scholarship, I would not only stand out for my athletic ability but also for my work ethic and my qualities as a cooperative team member. One thing that makes me stand out is my ability to overcome hardship and still succeed. Finally I can assure you that what you get out of me on the basketball court will be matched in all aspects of college life.
