Personal Statement
What sets me a part from my peers is my abilities to bring the little things to the table, the attributes less talked about. Yes, I am a potent offensive player. I have the ability to shoot off the dribble and to create my own looks from three and inside which is important but, in addition, I am a complete player. I am always looking for the best play/shot which is why I lead my program in assists. I am a player that loves defense just as much as I love scoring! My defense helps drives my offense and get my teammates involved. There is nothing I will not do that is needed to help my team win. I give all of me all the time, on any given day. My work ethic and drive is limitless on the court and in the classroom. I take pride in knowing that I can’t be a great athlete if I am not a great student, so performing at a high level academically is a priority and always will be.
I definitely look to play high level basketball at the collegiate level. That's why I continue to work so hard, train, and try to get better daily. I want to be a part of a team that shares a common goal, work towards being the best that we can be, and win championships!! I look forward to the culture of being a collegiate athlete. Yes, I understand that being a college athlete is a commitment, I will definitely have to learn and adapt, but to me there's no better place to learn skills like selflessness and leadership than on the court, which is only going to make me an even better person long after the ball stops bouncing.
