Abby John '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby John.  I am in the graduation class of 2025.  I go to Barnesville (MN) High School.  I am a 5'8" point guard.  I've been playing traveling ball since 4th grade.  I played 4th and 5th grade years on a MYAS team (played up a grade) and have played in the North Tartan AAU program since.  I played varsity since 8th grade earning All Conference honors each year.  My speed, wing span and ball handling capabilities make me hard to defend.  I love to push the ball and my court vision skills help me get my teammates involved.  They love to run the floor because they know that I will get them the ball.   I love assists as much as scoring.  I also finish at the rim very effectively and have a good outside shot.  I'm also a very good on-ball defender and effective shot blocker (because of my length and jumping ability).  I love being part of an aggressive team.  I love the friendships of my teammates.  I also play Volleyball, but my passion is Basketball.  I'm continuing to work hard to be stronger and faster.  I'm also always working on all skills including leadership with a goal of being a strong leader inspiring my teammates to be the best versions of themselves.
