Personal Statement
My biggest college goal is to get the best education I can and enter the workforce fully prepared for a career in the medical field. My studies are my main priority and I work very hard to get the best grades I can. I am very organized and I manage study time and sports/social activities well. I love basketball and I have played organized hoops from a very young age. My strong work ethic carries over onto the court and beyond. I train and practice very hard, taking advantage of skills camps, AAU teams and strength/conditioning workouts. On the court, I always give my all and my goal is to be the hardest working player out there at all times. I value team success over individual success and I recognize how important it is to be strong on the defensive end of the court as well as the offensive end. I put personal integrity and commitment at the top of my list of personality traits and make good decisions on and off the court. As an athlete, I am a hard worker and strive to play at the highest level I can, but ultimately my academics come first.
In September of 2016, I tore my ACL while playing in an AAU Tournament. Rehab is going really well and I anticipate being able to play again around May/June of 2017!
