Hello, my name is Mya Lawrence. I am very passionate about the sport of basketball. I strive to be better, and make the people around me better as well. I always try to give whatever I have left, not just for me, but for my teammates. I believe that basketball brings out my true personality, and it has made me a better person overall. It can be very draining, but I know that it will make me better in the long run, and shape me for my independent life after basketball. I want to be a big threat not only on the court, but also in academics. It is not possible to play basketball without passing in classes. My goal is to not only pass, but stand out in my studies, while also excelling on the basketball court. In the end, I want to be a reliable student-athlete who can support themselves, and pursue a career.
