I asked my father if I could play basketball at age 7 and have been playing ever since. In the 6th grade I decided I was going to play college basketball and I have been working towards this goal in the classroom and on the court for the past 3 years. I come from a hardworking resilient family that believes in service so I am a leader on and off the court. I love the intensity of competing its just challenging fun that I plan to continue on the college level.
My father taught me the value of education and also that it is a non-negotiable in our family so I have been on honor roll every nine weeks since I started school, understanding a quality education is essential to my future. I plan to work equally hard in the community, classroom and on the court of the college that provides me an life changing opportunity to attend their school. I would be so grateful to continue my education and basketball career in college.
On the court I am a explosive athlete with a high basketball IQ that has the resilient spirit and grit to be a champion. Being a PG with excellent court vision and leadership skills, I get my team mates involved in the game and keep us together when we have to battle through the tough moments on the court. I am all about helping my team play the best we can play on the court and being someone they can count on off the court as a friend.
