Making the Varsity High School Basketball team as a 7th grader, being a four-year starter, 3x All Region, 3x All County, All-State, 1000+ points, the all-time leading girls basketball scorer at my school and now a State Champion, have been the highlights of my high school career. I feel that I have proven myself with my work ethic and drive. I know that it's not about me and that being a leader and a team player is key to success.
Playing Varsity at an early age allowed me to overcome the anxiety of playing with older girls and wondering if I had the skills to compete. This opportunity allowed me to develop as a shooting guard and immediately contribute to my high school team. Time management is also a skill I’ve had to quickly learn to maintain my grades.
Winning the AAAA State Championship this past year was something special. Our team came together and everyone knew their role to make this happen. We set goals as a team and as individuals and we realized that hard work pays off.
I am passionate about the game of basketball and have been playing since I was 5 years old. I want to continue to play basketball at the next level and will be looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically, as well as athletically. I believe I have the talent, work ethic and drive to succeed and would welcome the opportunity to connect and learn more about your program.
