Elizabeth Malcolm '25 Recruiting Profile

My profile shows my drive as a student athlete. I am results-driven, competitive, and a hard worker. My profile, however, does not tell you that I started golf when I was little, but refused to play it. My sister and dad would go out and golf, while I would just tag along. It was not until the summer before high school that I found my love for the sport. My desire and motivation for golf has been growing ever since. 

I love learning new things in the classroom and on the course. I will be an academic all league student throughout high school, with my GPA (currently a 4.04) and grades a top priority. I love challenging classes and working hard to be the best—always seeking what my future holds.

Athletically I want to be a 4 year contributor with my goal becoming an all league player by my junior/senior year. I have been on varsity since I was a freshman, and do well under pressure. I am solid and consistent with my short irons and drives and always looking to improve and become a better athlete. I am a sophomore this year and wanting to improve my score this season. I would also like to make State these next seasons. Being an alternate for State my freshman year was my turning point. The experience helped me grow as an athlete and a person learning the values of team work, commitment, and sacrifice.

I am a strong student in class at Chaparral High School, with experience in strength and conditioning. My love for golf is genuine and I am always motivated to get better. I am looking for the best college fit for me.
