Lydia Dorman '24 Recruiting Profile

I want to be an anesthesiologist because I am passionate about helping people and being on a team in the medical field. I am involved in many different things that set me apart from others for instance, the symphony band, jazz band, I have also been taking piano lessons for 7 years. I believe rhythm helps a lot in golf for my tempo and that music and golf have many other connections. I also am a hard worker, I love to help people anywhere I am and I love the golf community and playing tournaments and connecting with people during rounds. I enjoy and put a lot of effort and intention into my practice. I am not going to be a person who hits golf balls at the range, I use many drills to keep my swing in good shape. I also read golf mental books for my mental game because I believe it is truly one of the most important things in the golf game.
