I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old. I started on a boys' team and played with the boys as a defenseman through year 2 of Bantam. I then transitioned to girls' hockey. I played my whole co-ed journey with one organization but have since jumped to multiple other organizations, totally 4 teams. I was chosen as Blackhawks hockey player of the month is 2016 and have been told time and time again from my coaches that I am dependable, highly coachable, and a team player at all costs. They say I have a great sense of the game, read the ice well, and can easily predict where the puck will go. My heart is in the defensive position but this year I am venturing out and playing wing with my new team. I enjoy so many aspects of the game and love being part of a team. I also play lacrosse and made the varsity team as a sophomore, playing defense and stayed on the starting line up all season. Academically I do very well in school. I am involved and just like my relationship has always been with my coaches, I get along very well with my teachers and classmates. I am really looking forward to playing hockey and maybe even lacrosse as I continue my education!
