Personal Statement
My most impactful achievement so far was being selected to represent the South Command team in the Under Armor All- America Underclass Tournament. I also brought my talent to many camps between my 7th and 8th grade years. I attended the University of Maryland camp 3 years in a row. Every year, I won the prize, a lacrosse stick, for my attitude during the camp and the hustle and determination I demonstrated. Also, I have gone to the University of Florida camp 3 times and won a very similar prize for showing great sportsmanship. My travel team, Stickbenders, and I played in the Brine National Tournament on July 20-21 2016. I always hold my head high and I am always looking to set up great plays and more opportunities for my team.
My goal as an individual is to be the player your coach warns you about. I want to be a threat on the field while staying humble and growing as one with my team. However, as a collegiate goal, I want to show coaches and fans that the South region (Florida, Georgia, etc.) can play just like the others. I want to prove that a South Floridian can shine in the NCAA.
