Personal Statement

For my whole life, I've always known what I have wanted to do in the future: Project Management has always been something that is very close to my heart, and it's been something that I pursued avidly in my day to day life.  Not only that, but being an active member in my school was something that was equally as important to me. Right from the start of my primary school, I participated in sporting activities and clubs in schools, and more often than not, I played a leading role in those events.

Throughout primary school and high school, I had participated in more than six sports on the highest aged team, as teams were based on age and not level of skill. The fact that my school had a graduating class of around eighty students made it easier for me to participate in as many co-curriculars as I wanted. In accordance with all these sports, I participated in multiple clubs. I did all this because I'm a very energetic person who always needs to keep busy, often finding it hard to stay still. My mind is always wandering and constantly needs something to do.

With all the sports I've played,  none of them compare to Lacrosse: I've been playing for only two years, yet I have completely fallen in love with the sport.  With all the sports I have played, none of them have made as big an impact on my life as lacrosse has: I have never been able to manage my time as effectively, and get things done on time, more than when I'm in season. With all the sports I have played, I have never been this committed to playing at the collegiate level and have never thought about playing beyond my high-school life as passionately as I am now. That's the difference with lacrosse.

When going to university, I want to be able to do what I love the most, and that's getting an education and playing the sport that means the most to me. I'm always looking to do and experience new things, and education is my biggest weakness: I love learning new things, and if there was nothing else for me to do in the world, I would be sitting all day in a class... and, of course, playing lacrosse.
