Personal Statement
Hi coaches my name is Sara McNicoll, I live in Eagan Minnesota and I graduate in 2018. My goal and dream is to play lacrosse in college, I want to go to a school where I think I fit in, and where I can get a great college education. I grew up as a point guard in basketball, I had some great coaches who taught me the importance of possessing the ball, passing, and vision. During my basketball career I have also played high school hockey, in hockey I've had coaches teach me how to be physical when I have to, and I have also learned the importance of conditioning, the never quit attitude, and how to stand up for and believe in your teammates. The reason that I love lacrosse is because I take all the skills I learned in my other sports and apply it to the game. I want to consider myself a good athlete not just a good lacrosse player, I am 100% committed to lacrosse as my only sport now. On any team I join I will bring the ability to get along, no complaining, leadership and building trust with the coaches and my teammates.
