Hello, my name is Elizabeth Yarmy, although I prefer to be called Emmy. I will be graduating from New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY in 2016. This is my eighth year playing lacrosse. I started on the field in third grade, but quickly found my passion in the goal cage. Last season was my first on varsity where I split time equally with the other goalie. This 2015 season, I am starting goalie on varsity and play whole games most of the time. I am left handed and I believe my strongest attribute would be the amount of talking and direction I have while in net. I also play club for House of Sports based out of Ardsley, NY. With this team I travel to various tournaments, often times in the toughest competition bracket.
Outside of lacrosse, you can most likely find me at Model Congress, a club I am actively involved in at school. I am also in my high school's chapter of Math Honor Society. I see myself majoring in business or a different business-related major.
It is a dream of mine to play in college while receiving an education that will broaden my horizons in the real world. I am keeping all options open to try to find the right school for me. I hope that you can take the time to reach out to me or any of my coaches regarding any information you would like to know about me on or off the field.
