Hello, I am McCall Roach and I have played lacrosse since third grade. I started my lacrosse career playing boys' lacrosse which gave me a unique outlook on the game. Lacrosse is my favorite sport and I love to play it. As a defensive woman, I am good at communicating on the field as well as being big. Though I am on the shorter side I use my voice and I can use my feet to stay in front of other players. I love playing lacrosse because of the ability I have to be able to adapt to different situations. I also love how there are so many different situations; not every transition or play is the same. I am good at cutting people through the transition.
Outside of lacrosse I also play soccer and run cross county. I also love to run in my free time as a way to stay in shape. I love to cook. It is one of my favorite activities. The outdoors are also such a big part of my life and living in the south is part of life. Getting outside is so important to me. I go to an all-girls school, which is a unique experience because our friendships are so tight because we don't have boys daily. Though we do work with boys’ schools a lot. In school I am part of a couple of clubs, I work on the yearbook, and I will be an editor for athletes in my sophomore year as well as my junior year. I am also part of my school spirit club, G-Force, and I am part of the Health Club.
