Honors Classes:

Yes. I have been in an Honors English Class since 7th grade. My junior year I will be taking not only an Honors English class, but also an Honors Chemistry class. If an honors class is offered, I take it.

AP Classes:

Yes. I have taken AP Human Geography my Freshman year and AP European History my Sophomore Year. My senior year I will be taking AP BC Calculus, AP Physics 1 and AP Government and Politics.

  • I have been on the Honor Roll since 7th grade with a 4.0 GPA. I was a member of the National Junior Honor Society my Freshman year. I was awarded with an Academic Letter I (recognition of my GPA) for the Honor Roll at Alta High School my Sophomore year. I am also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. I am a member of the National Honor Society and was Vice President of that club my junior year and will be President of the club my senior year. I got the opportunity to attend a medical leadership summit with the group People to People at Johns Hopkins University. I was one of 18 individuals selected to be a part of the Jordan Applied Technology Center's Surgical Technologist Program which will allow me to graduate high school as a surgical technologist.

  • I was on Student Government my Sophomore year as the public relations officer. I am currently serving as one of two students who sits on the Canyons School District advisory board to help discuss matters to better the students. I also sit on our girls lacrosse board as a player representative. I am currently the president elect of the Health Occupation Students of America Club (HOSA) and I am also the vice president of our school's National Honors Society. I will be the President of both clubs next year. I am a member of the National Charity League (Salt Lake City Chapter). This is a non profit organization that allows mothers and daughters to volunteer together for countless numbers of philanthropies. It gives us volunteer and leadership experiences. I was nominated to be a member of an ambassador leadership program called People to People my sophomore year. This allowed me to go to Johns Hopkins University on a medical leadership summit.
