Personal Statement
I aspire to be an author. My dream is to play lacrosse in college, major in English, and become a published author of essays, novels, or work at a newspaper or magazine. I would be a valuable addition to a team because I am a team player, and I always try to keep everybody built up and happy. I have strong character and try to lead others through tough times on the team. Athletically, I am not the best player at one specific thing, but I am a well rounded player who is very good at almost all aspects of the game. I am a strong defender with good field sense, and would describe myself as highly coachabe. I am flexible and willing to try things out of my comfort zone. Academically, I have had straight A's since Kindergarten, and pride myself in my academic accomplishments and work ethic. Writing is my strong suit. I take great pride in my writing. It sets me apart from others because it is the expression of my innermost thoughts and and opinions. I can relay things through written words that I could never say aloud.
