My name is Sofia Greenberg and have been playing soccer for the last 10 years. I have aspirations to not only play collegiate-level soccer and continue my passion for the sport. love frustrating opposing teams and taking away the strongest players.
What I can bring to a team is pure determination, critical thinking, and aggression with a positive attitude. When I make a mistake I quickly recover and make an effort to learn from other great players and then use their skills against them. I am very strong in the air and I love to get stuck in and not afraid to make tackles.
I am seeking a challenging collegiate career where I can enhance my existing academic and soccer skills while adding to the overall success of the team and the university.
As a child, I had a near-death experience that fueled my passion for the sciences and specifically the medical field. I have a director-level role in the non-profit organization World Health Access Team, which works with other organizations to provide support during medical missions and distribute donations to the local community. I am the head of a clothing drive that takes pounds of clothes to Honduras in a project called Let's Dress Honduras.
I maintain a 4.71 weighted GPA and I am taking multiple honors classes alongside APs. I excel in math and science and enjoy taking on new challenges every day.
I take great joy in working hard and seeing the payoff for my strong work ethic.
I look forward to hearing from coaches and see where we can match.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sofia Greenberg
