Kamryn Greer '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kamryn Greer. I am a Junior at Battle High School in Columbia, Mo. I have been playing soccer for 9 years and have experience playing forward, attacking/holding midfield, and center back, but I am currently playing 7/11 outside forward. I played for Columbia Select for 6 years and transitioned to UCC in the fall of 2021 where I currently play for their U-19 Academy team. I played on the Missouri 07 ODP team and competed with them many times. My mom, Jana, got me into soccer after she played at Rock Bridge High School and Southwest Baptist University, where my dad, Eric, also played baseball. I have one older sister, Kylie, who recently started her freshman year at Drake University.  I have a 6 yr old foster brother, who started living with us in July. 

Soccer is a very large part of my life. When I come home I watch it on my phone/tv or play soccer outside in my yard. My favorite team is the Men's Chelsea team. My favorite players currently are Reece James and Mykhailo Mudryk. I think that their speed of play but also their awareness of the field and players is one of my favorite qualities. I think that overall they are very crafty and smart, but also tactical, all of which I try to implement into my game.

I'm going to major in Pre-med. I have always had aspirations to help people, wherever that may be, but medicine and science are very, very intriguing to me. I hope to become a pediatric surgeon.  Something that I always strive for is to try my best. I struggle with school but I'm always trying to improve myself and my knowledge. I think that whenever you are trying your best and giving it your all you can only improve, even if you fail the first time, you can do it again.
