Personal Statement
I've played soccer as long as I can remember. Soccer has taught me how to be a better person both on the field and off. I believe that my job is to excel at my position and to work hard to develop my skills and understanding of the game. I started watching Liverpool when Steven Gerrard was still captain, and I try to watch Sporting KC and local women's teams play to learn as much as possible. I work just as hard on academics, and hope to pursue a degree in engineering, robotics or industrial design. I've had the opportunity to play soccer in other countries, including France in 2019 during the US Women's World Cup, and it made me appreciate that soccer is a force for good around the world. Soccer has been the source of so much joy in my life and I hope to spend many more years playing for a great team.
