Soccer has always been a big part of my life. I have played soccer since I was three years old. Soccer has taught me discipline on and off the field, as well as hard work. I play until the whistle blows and I do not stop trying until the play is over. I put in work during the offseason which includes running and footwork. I have learned that with hard work and dedication anything is possible. My biggest challenge since playing soccer is when I got injured. During that time, it was hard to watch my teammates from the sidelines. I am so passionate about the game of soccer that I do not like watching from the sidelines. Throughout my recovery I was thinking that I would be better in no time to get on the field again. With the injury it taught me to work even harder to get to the point that I was at before.
Academically, my goals for the rest of my high school career are to maintain a high GPA while taking honors and college classes, and participating in many different clubs. Athletically, I want to improve my skills and communication, as well as being a respectable leader on and off the field. Being selected on the first team in the Northern Buckeye Conference for high school is one of my other goals. My goals for college are to maintain a high GPA and gain valuable knowledge for whatever career path I choose to pursue. I would also like to improve my soccer skills while balancing everyday life that comes with being a college student.
