Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was six years old. I instantly loved the physical and competitive nature of the sport; however being part of a team and working together to achieve a win is the most exciting part for me. Being in sync with ten other girls that work as one can be a very powerful feeling. I am only a sophomore in high school now and I am still looking forward to playing with my high school and premier club teams. I know that I will still want to be playing soccer while I am in college. Being on a college team will foster new friendships, build a sense of community for me, my teammates and the college. I am not quite sure what I will want to be studying in college right now but having a well rounded college level education is definitely a goal that I do have.
