Audrey Burnell '24 Recruiting Profile

As an individual and team player, I believe I have numerous characteristics which elevate me above other recruits. First I am a very coachable player, willing to listen to what a coach would like to see and adjust my play to the needs of the team. I work diligently to continue to improve and maintain my skill work and techniques on the field, including shooting, passing, and being able to get around a player. I train specifically for skills, strength/ speed/ agility, and sensory to continually work at improving skills. As a team player I am always looking for ways to encourage others to do their best and lift them up at all times. I am not afraid to give appropriate constructive feedback when needed, and I am willing to own a mistake and accept constructive feedback as well. I pride myself to always give 100% on the field and stay in the game regardless of circumstances. 

Additional attributes I feel I have which set me apart from other recruits include my strength and determination. I have the strength to push through challenging times. If I am struggling with skills, shooting, or other conflicts, I push myself through it, train harder, and come out tougher, stronger, and more mentaly sound every time. This absolutely helps make me a better person in every aspect of my life. My determination helps me on the field, but also with my studies. I pride myself with also giving 100% off the field and do this through always giving my best ability on my classwork, assignments, and tests. I strive to maintain a high GPA, become a full International Baccalaureate (IB) student, and graduate with high honors. I plan to join different school clubs and be active through community service. My current collegiate goals and aspirations include attending school to play soccer, do well in my courses, and be accepted to medical school upon completion of my Bachelors degree. 

I work hard in every component of my life and I never give up. I am thankful for all of my academic and athletic accomplishments and can not wait to further them throughout my high school and college careers. I am excited for all that is before me and willing to work to achieve each next level.
