Personal Statement
My goal is to attend a University that would allow me to double major in both Sonography and Athletic Training. By double majoring I can go into a field of study I am interested in and give back to the community by having the skills to help future athletes. I would love to attend a Division one college, but I would still be happy to attend a Division two or Division three college, as long as I am doing the sport that I love. I feel that which ever college accepts me to be apart of their team, I am easily adaptable to change, I am capable of taking constructive criticism and improve myself both academically and athletically. What makes me different from other recruits is that I am easy to get along with, I am always in a good mood, I am energetic and goofy, I am supportive and cheerful, and even when I am in a not so good mood, I will still try my best at everything I do, and I know I won't always be the best, but that's okay because the point is that I tried and gave it 110%. For my athletics, I know I am a relevantly good swimmer, but I also know I have a lot of room for improvement, and I am very open to new thoughts and tips. I am a good team mate and I am never a bad sport. I will always wish my fellow athletes good luck and tell them good job when they're done. I also try my best at every practice and race, and even though I am having one of those days where it just doesn't seem like I am doing well, that's okay because I know I was trying my best and giving it my all. As for my academics, I am not the smartest person, my grades aren't too hot, and I am about an average B- student. I know that school comes first always and I do try my hardest in school so I can keep up with the work and grades. I know it doesn't reflect much off of my grades, but I do try my best, and I am willing to do anything that would help me improve more. I know I can do better to improve in this area and I will.
