Personal Statement
I started swimming at the age of 8 and ever since I have become addicted to the work associated with training. I love waking up every knowing that I have been given the opportunity to give by best in order to improve. Since my team is so small, we are unable to swim doubles in the mornings. Around the age of 12, I started practicing 3 to 5 days a week in the mornings alone. I love these practices because they have shaped me as a person. Overall, I have become very dedicated and accountable through these practices. Working hard and training is easily my favorite aspects of swimming.
