Savanna Amack '24 Recruiting Profile

I can't imagine a time in my life where I didn't do sports. Competing has always been apart of me, and is the leading attribute I have as an athlete, student, and person. I have strong drive, crazy motivation, and huge ambitions. When I set goals for myself I always put my all into achieving them. Competing at the collegiate level is one of those goals. 

The strongest attributes I bring to a team are my mentality and commitment. I strongly believe mentality drives everything, and having a bad mentality takes away from you reaching your full potential. There's been many moments in my life where I was struggling personally, and failed to have a good attitude despite it. I let it impact me, and I let it impact my team. Overcoming those moments has taught me that I can't control what happens to me, but I can control how I let it affect my life. With this mentality, I allow myself to fully commit to my team, and to my goals.  

I've always strived for success in academics. I've taken many honors and AP courses, and  have maintained a 4.0 and above GPA my entire high school career. I recognize the importance of being a student before an athlete; knowing I can only succeed as an athlete once I succeed as a student. Creating that balance between my studies and my trainings is always top priority for me. 

I am extremely grateful for this great opportunity I've been given through my athletic abilities, and am so excited to see what the future holds.
