Personal Statement
Acedemic: I am a student at the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora. The school is vary challenging academically, perhaps the hardest I've every had to try to get A's in a class. I've been given so many opportunities at this school like, internships at Fermilab, presenting my business idea to actual entrepreneur, and public speaking. I'm very interested in a career in chemical engineering. Education is something i put before everything in my life.
Motivation: Like a typical teenager i make mistakes but, I learn from my mistakes. I know that greatness takes time and passion. I have a passion for what I do and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get good grades and be the best possible runner and jumper i can be. I'm looking to get pushed hard at practices because i know that in the long run, I'll get better.
Track: Track is what i look forward to when i am let out from school. As an athlete at IMSA, improvement goes for beyond the track. Although it is not mandatory, I go to the workout room 3-4 times a week to improve my strength, mostly for triple jump. The days we don't have practice, i go to the track and run intervals.As an athletes, I will give 110% everyday at practice. I loved track so much that i was willing to not attend IMSA just to stay with my old track team at Yorkville because i got so attached to my coaches and teammates. But, running for a new team has changed my self motivation.
