Ever since t-ball, I have been in love with softball, I can't remember a time when I haven't been playing. Though I have always played softball I have only played for my school and for season recreation teams. I haven't had the travel ball experience because when it became a topic of discussion it, unfortunately, did not work with my family's schedule.  When I go to college I would like to go into biochemistry/the pre-medicine route but I would still like to be able to play softball throughout college. I mainly play 2B, SS, and RF positions and I usually hit to left field. Whether I am on the field or waiting to bat you will always hear me cheering on my team and communicating with my teammates. Outside of school and softball, I show pigs and chickens in 4-H. Through 4-H I have learned that hard work pays off and that to reach a common goal you have to collaborate well with those you are working with, which I have applied when playing.
