During my time in college, I would like to major in exercise science and work to become a physical therapist hopefully getting the opportunity to do undergraduate and graduate-level research. I also want to be a part of a track team to better my times and physical capabilities. I feel that being on a team allows for adequate and important life skills, although track and field is usually an individual sport, there are still team aspects like, relays. Being on a team will allow for better communication skills, and creates a greater sense of community. Both of these skills grant important life skills, that I hope to use later in life, especially in physical therapy. I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because I am coachable, and I want to get better. I don't just want to participate in track because I did so in high school, and I want to finish what I started. Instead, I want to run because it has been such a special part of my life, and I truly don't think I could fully function without competing in college. I am driven in everything I do, in the classroom and on the track. I give 110% and will make sure I am giving my all, and my teammates as well.
