Alaina Morris '26 Recruiting Profile

Sports have always played a massive part in my life. I have enjoyed playing basketball and running track since I have been in primary school. Cross Country is newer to me, I started in 8th grade I picked up a love for this sport very quickly. I shortly discovered that I have a natural talent for running. In 7th grade, coaches began to recognize the talent I had and encouraged me to get a new personal record each Track meet and work ten times harder than others on my team. Outside of school, I love to run and put in extra work for myself to succeed. I love to be a leader and show others the mentality they should have to be successful for not only them selfs but for their team. I believe I am very flexible and able to work with coaches with many different styles/ways of coaching. I would love to be able to attend a college that is just right for me. Not only do I look forward to running in college I would love to succeed academically and continue to stay successful. I am hard-working and committed to getting better each day, I always play my role as a teammate and a leader to those behind me.
