I am extremely driven at everything I do, whether it is academics or competing in athletics. I plan to obtain an undergraduate degree in the medical science field and continue on for a graduate degree and hopefully a doctorate degree. I am currently the captain of my high schools' varsity dance team where I am in my fourth year on the award winning varsity team. I just completed my third year on the varsity track & field team and I went to state each year in the Division 1 Greater Metro Conference. In addition to my high school teams, I have danced competitively at Accent on Dance for the past 7 years. Due to my committment to both dance teams, my track & field training has been limited to the 3 month track season. With this limited training, I still have been able to excel and with the help of increased training in college I feel I can finally reach my full potential. I have been able to be successful at all of these extra curricular activities while still maintaining a 4.00 GPA, including several honors and AP classes. I am also a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Society. All of this hard work and dedication has prepared me to be a successful student and athlete in college and beyond.
