Personal Statement
I am striving to play volleyball at the highest collegiate volleyball program possible, I want to become a better player and also a better person. My high school volleyball career has just concluded and we finished fourth in the State at the 4A division, I couldn't be prouder of all the hard work that I have done and how much it paid off. My dream of volleyball started in the 6th grade and ever since then, I have been obsessed with the sport. Attending high school in Hawaii, I became the only freshmen on varsity and was voted in at Second Team All-State which I couldn't be more grateful for. As a sophomore at Aiea High School, I received Honorable Mention and It made me want to push myself to new heights. Moving to an entirely different state and now a Senior, I had to work hard to get my team and I to States this season. My hard work gave me First Team All Region and going into the State, I was also a part of the All-State Tournament Team. Now that Club Season is beginning, I will be playing for Midnight Sun Volleyball and hopefully get to travel! Especially to the Las Vegas Tournament, which I am extremely stoked for!
Now to academics, I plan to major somewhere between Nursing or Criminal Justice because I want to help people become better as people themselves. Along the way of learning and bettering others, it will allow me to learn new things about myself and also better myself in the process. Whether it is mentally, physically or emotionally. My goal is to give back to people.
