This quote is what inspires me both on and off the court every day. I take my academics seriously and aspire to be accepted into a prestigious college. I grew up in a small town in Colorado near a world-class ski resort, and have had skis on my feet since I was two. I am a multi-sport athlete,  with basketball and soccer secondary to my primary sport and passion, volleyball. I pride myself on taking a leadership role on and off the court and love to see my teammates flourish. I was appointed captain of my club volleyball team for two consecutive seasons as well as my first high-school JV season. My interests go beyond academics and sports. I have done theater for years with VPAA and am currently starring in my high school play. I'm also working with local non-profits to develop a summer program to help introduce underprivileged young girls to the sport of volleyball. I genuinely love this sport and would be honored to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
