I have always played sports as long as I can remember. My love for volleyball was from the moment I stepped on the court in the 6th grade. Since that time, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. In fact, it has never wavered and I will continue to strive towards this goal. Playing in college would be an amazing opportunity, and I believe that my determination, hard work, skills, and desire to be a strong team player, will help me to be an asset to my college team.
Volleyball has taught me many things, and with certainty, has helped me to develop characteristics and traits such as persistence, patience, and perseverance, which are essential for the game, but also important as a strong competitor and coachable team player.
I have played varsity since the 9th grade and played for an elite competitive club for the last 5 years. I currently play OH and middle back for high school, but for club, I play libero. I also play beach volleyball for my high school and won districts for my school. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and I'm always looking to improve my skills. I am a team leader and work diligently to always encourage my teammates.
In the classroom, I work just as hard. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and will continue to work hard academically. I am searching for the best blend of high-level volleyball training and academic excellence.
