My name is Courtney Kozak. I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade. I currently play at Kane County Juniors Volleyball Club. I made a switch from Sports Performance this year because KCJ will allow me to play soccer for my high school in the spring, while still playing on a competitive club team. My Freshman year, I attended Rosary High School. I played on the Sophomore team and was moved up to Varsity for the post-season. I achieved Academic All Conference and High Honor Roll during my first semester at Rosary. I currently attend St. Francis High School in Wheaton, 12 time state champs. As a transfer student/athlete, I was able to practice my sophomore year, but was not eligible to play in games due to IHSA transfer rules. This past school season, I played middle because that's where I was needed, however, I consider myself an OH/RH. I am currently a High Honor Roll Student with a 4.19 GPA on a 4 point scale. I received a 32 ACT score in October., and was recently named to the National Honor Society. I also played 6 years of club soccer as a goalie, and I swam competitively for several years. I understand the hard work and dedication that it takes to be the best I can be, both on the court and in the classroom. I will continue to work hard and be dedicated as I continue my academic and athletic careers.
