Abbey McMillen '23 Recruiting Profile

I would love to not only go to a University to play volleyball, but I would love to go to learn new things and prepare myself for the future and be successful in life. I may not be the fastest girl on the court, but I am very dedicated, hardworking, and competitive. I will push myself as hard as I possibly can, and work as hard as I can to not only be better at volleyball but also to be better as an individual. I have a positive attitude which also reflects on my teammates by helping them stay positive and motivated. 

I feel like on and off the court I am a leader. I like to set good examples not only for my teammates on the court but also the surrounding people off the court. As a student, I earn A's in my classes and my school work always comes first. I like to be challenged whether I am on the court or off the court. I am very respectful to my coaches and also my teachers, which helps build a good and strong relationship with them, and also is a big step in helping me learn and succeed.
