Anna Sheppard '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anna Sheppard, a Junior at Morgan Park Academy in Chicago, Illinois.  I grew up playing sports. I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade and (except for the COVID year) have played ever since. I have also played basketball since middle school and currently have played varsity basketball since my freshman year. I love being a student athlete but especially volleyball. I feel that I have learned so much about myself being part of my school and club volleyball teams. While I am a lefthanded right-side hitter, I have been asked to play as an outside hitter and even a middle. I am a fierce competitor and push myself to learn and continue to grow as a player, team member, and leader. Volleyball is my passion and also the sport I enjoy. It is the thing I work the hardest at and enjoy the most!
