Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Emily Fraim and I want to thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Let me start by telling you a bit about myself. Since a young age, volleyball has always stood out and the more I play it the more passionate I become. My goal is to continually improve and learn how to be the best overall athlete possible. That being said, I have the mindset to go the extra mile and be the best version of myself, not only for my personal love of the game but for my team(s) as well. During season and off, my hands are either on a volleyball or attending strengthening/conditioning with a personal trainer and/or participating in private lessons. I seek out skills/training camps, combines, showcases including USA Volleyball opportunities. Continuing to grow by adding in sand training.
During my time with the various school and club teams, I know how having a great attitude can really determine how the game(s)/season goes. Positive attitude goes a long way and encourages a healthy team dynamic.
Being active in my sport also helps me perform better academically. I have learned the essence of time management which is crucial as curriculum is becoming more challenging as I journey through my high school years. As for my collegiate aspirations, I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to pursue a university that will give me a strong collegiate foundation for graduate studies should my career path lead me in that direction. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an impact on the team. I really don't want to be too far from my home however, I am not ruling out further away options should opportunity present itself.
I hope I have sparked your interest as I can assure you I am working from my end to be an awesome addition to your team!
